Properly and responsibly done, penis enlargement is safe. Obviously you must avoid the dangerous methods and be careful if you are using the weights and stretching techniques.
Various studies have shown that a lot of men are interested in penis enlargement. It is sometimes a question of vanity and insecurity, but on other occasions it is more of a medical problem. In the same way that a guy with a big nose may want a smaller one, then a man with a small penis may want a big one. Sometimes a man's penis size affects his confidence in bed, in the same way that having small boobs may affect a woman's confidence when naked. Some men are not satisfied with the firmness of their erect penis. In some cases, men are too embarrassed to consult their doctor on this subject.
A lot of men are very insecure about their size. This can lead to a nasty cycle of un-confidence in bed. And leads to a poorer performance and more anxiety which may cause even more un-confidence in bed. The increased anxiety leads to the problems relating to feelings of sexual inadequacy. This may then take a toll on a relationship. Deep seated problems may arise through misplaced guilt and feelings of frustration. These feelings may deepen and take a deeper root. These feelings of being an unsatisfactory lover may lead to the reduced desire to have sex from both members of the relationship. The woman in your life may mistake these feelings of a reduced sexual desire as marks of rejection. This may even make her self-conscious, making her believe she is no longer attractive to you. If this is left to fester than it may result in unfixable problems within the relationship.
The adult industry often shows men with oversized penises. They then market enlargement pills, sprays and creams with the claim that they will all work. The claims go from the quasi scientific to the downright outrageous.
Enlargement Creams Do Not Work
Adverts (online mostly) will claim that enlargement creams are the new way of growing your penis. There is however, little proof that a topical preparation will increase the blood flow to the penis. Though the very idea of a better blood flow to the area may increase firmness, it will do nothing to increase the size of a penis. If this did work, then surely your finger would grow as you apply it to your penis.
Penis Pumps Do Not Work
A common and well known penis enlargement technique is through using a penis pump. It is seen in more common place media such as magazines, online, adult shops and various drug stores. They work by creating a vacuum which sucks up the penis. This brings the blood up to the surface tissue in the penis and may increase overall blood flow. There is however little proof that a penis pump will cause an increase in penis size. Some men have been reported as having a reliance on the pump after a while and may find it difficult to get an erection without one.
Using Weights Doesn't Work...Well
The reason this one has been passed down from generation to generation is because it does kind of work, but it does not really have desirable results. The problem is that when using weights over a long period of time then it will increase penis length but not the penis size. The penis will stretch longer but invariably end up thinner. It also puts a lot of pressure on the arteries in the penis, making it harder to achieve and maintain an erection. The act of using weights will also restrict the flow of blood. This can cause damage, sometimes even permanent damage. It can also lead to a whole host of other problems.
Enlargement Surgery Does Work if You Can Afford it
Any type of elective surgery should receive a lot of consideration. It is not a decision taken lightly and you should really put some research into it. There is always a risk to your health end even your life in all surgery, so anybody considering it should put a lot of thought into it.
Penis enlargement surgery can lead to very serious complications, such as blood clots, bleeding out and infection. It is also very expensive it you are having it done professionally. The scar tissue may also mis-shape your penis and you should take care to make sure the results do not turn out worse.
In most cases when you have penis enlargement surgery it means that they will remove some of your body fat and inject it into the penis. This means that it will not affect your penis length but will affect your girth when done correctly. There are other surgeries that will make your penis look bigger when it is limp. There is a string of tissue that goes from your pelvis bone to your penis, and it basically holds it upwards. The higher it holds the penis then the less of it that shows when it is limp. In this surgery that little piece of tissue is cut, so the weight of your penis will drag it down and make it look bigger when limp. There are currently no approved elective surgeries that will make a penis go firmer or maintain an erection. Currently the surgeries for that are mostly upon a doctor or surgeons referral.
